This week in Third Grade!

"This week in music we learned a lot about Mozart. Did you know that Mozart died at age 35?" -Josiah

"I learned about bubble gum in science! And the dancing raisins experiment!" -Princess

Montpelier

good after noon boys and girls I'm going to tell you about montpelier. It is very big there and it is also our fourth president of the united state's house- james madison. we went on a field trip there and there were a whole lot of kids holding these blue, white and red and star boards and saying USA! We put them on top of our heads and made a whole entire flag! -Naiya Whyte

Math is Cool!

I learned about contint and country. we live in north america . we live in u.s.a we learned place value. The places are called ones, tens, hundreds, thousands, ten thousands, hundred thousands. The comma says, "THOUSANDS!" My favorite part of school this week was hearing the story "The Pain and the Great One" by Judy Blume. ESL Academy is happy for everyone. by: xueni wang

First Week

This week Mrs.lovett's class learned about maps. We learned that maps have prime meridian and equator. We learned about dolphins. Dolphins are small whales and are mammals. Third grade is really great. I am excited about  having fun.   -Morgan Thomas
